Device Description
This aviation emergency oxygen mask system is designed to provide supplemental
oxygen to passengers during in-flight cabin pressure loss or emergency decompression
events. The system consists of a lightweight molded oxygen mask, flexible tubing
assemblies, elastic retention components, and precision-sewn soft goods engineered
for durability, comfort, and rapid deployment. Integrated into commercial aircraft cabin
safety systems worldwide, these assemblies are manufactured to meet aerospace
quality, reliability, and performance standards.
Customer Situation
The project required a more durable and cost-effective demonstrator bag solution for
flight attendant safety operations. The existing product lacked long-term durability and
created unnecessary manufacturing costs. The customer also needed a manufacturing
partner capable of scaling production volumes while maintaining quality requirements
outside of a clean-room environment.
Solution
Polo Custom Products partnered with the customer to engineer and manufacture a
high-performance demonstrator bag solution that improved durability, reduced overall
costs, and validated that a non-clean-room manufacturing process could successfully
meet all application requirements. What began as a targeted cost and performance
improvement initiative has since evolved into a long-term manufacturing partnership
