Custom Weapon Dust Cover
Material Specifications
The outer cover material of the custom weapon dust cover is a black marine fabric with waterproof backing. The inner liner material is black vinyl laminated to polyester scrim. Black nylon webbing is sewn throughout the cover as well as hook and loop compartment closures.
The covers are breathable in that they prevent the generation or retention of moisture under the cover. The covers are water and wear-resistant. The material is double-reinforced at wear points to reduce ripping or tearing from the wind and hydraulic-induced stresses. The material is also UV and chemical-resistant. The covers are designed to be a tight fit to mounted weapons but easy to install by one person within two minutes.
